Heartfelt Laughter

Lovely day indeed.... And it most certainly was full of laughter... I adore my husband, he entices bellowing laughs from my soul and I can't resisting feeling so light-hearted... Lifted... It's wonderful... I think laughter is essential to good health... Vital...

Aided by one's food choices.... Of course...

Brunch: half of a blueberry bagel (I am allured by most breads, especially bagels...delicious)

Dinner: we ate at Texas Land & Cattle (I know, perfectly fitting for our diets)... It was a dinner hosted by our Chiropractor... I ate: a salad with Balsamic Vinaigrette and some lovely garlic mashed potatoes...

And dessert: a fourth of a blueberry bagel...

I had way too many carbs today... I think I am going to burn them off with some crunches and jump roping....

I think I am going to start writing my posts in the morning, I like mornings, they make me feel lively... I like it, what do you think?

A Partial Oeuvre

Sunday. What a wonderful day it was: beautiful weather, fresh bagels, productive exercise, and perfect hair... I am excited for what tomorrow holds... Unknown, yet to decide... A perfect concoction for lovely surprises...

The food my body was given as fuel:

Breakfast: a whole bagel... and yes I had cream cheese, just a little bit though... I had a banana too... With a wonderful glass of tea... Earl Grey, in-fact...

And then for lunch... I ate an apple.... And had some more tea, then got distracted and didn't eat until Joshua got home...

Which leaves dinner... almond butter and mixed berry spread (my raw version, I'll share it soon... Let's set a date... Wednesday, I will have them up Wednesday) on some wonderfully toasted bread, my most favorite was to have a PB&J... With a wonderful citrus finish, an orange...

And because my wonderful brought home fresh bagels, I had to eat them... The perfect surprise goes with-out excitement unless you indulge in it... So I had half a blueberry bagel... Delicious...

And now to bed... To be well rested for tomorrow's unknown... Exciting....

A Day's Regale

I feel like today consisted of numerous days all mashed up into one... in-turn, very productive. Which I love. Plus my house is sparkling clean... Okay, maybe not sparkling, but very clean. Did I mention I love cleaning, because I do... And I love it even more when I don't have to clean with nasty harsh chemicals...

Joshua and I have switched solely to all natural cleaning products; foreign initially, letting go of something you trusted for so long and experimenting with a whole new product line... But oh the rewards, yes, they're numerous... I can breathe for starters and the packaging is much more attractive...

(If you're wondering as to the products I use, here you go: Mrs. Meyer's Scent Free dish soap for my dishes, naturally... a vinegar, water, bergamot oil solution for the countertop's, Armani accidents(that's our puppy), and moping... We have yet to switch over our laundry detergent, mainly because we still have plenty to use, but I think we are either going to go with a Mrs. Meyer's product or Method... Still deciding)

And I know, you must be wondering, what am I eating that allows for me to be so productive... Well, I am about to fill you in.. Really... I am, which all of a sudden seemed really startling, why I would tell you about everything I consume... Well, nevertheless, here you go...

Again with the breakfast foods:

Breakfast: apple almond granola with some bran flakes all in a pool of a chilled almond/rice milk mixture... Delicious, indeed... Central Market has the greatest bulk food section...

Lunch: a whole banana, another one of those piñata apples (fairly delicious, they're growing on me)... And some oatmeal...

Dinner: black bean 'tacos' smothered in 'pico de gallo' with fresh cilantro... Substantially mouth watering... Mmm...

So another wonderful day filled with wonderfully delicious foods...
Look forward to another wonderful day tomorrow, what shall I eat? Any suggestions?

Happiness Unfolded

I apparently have a love for breakfast food items. Not that I wasn't aware, but I suppose I hid it in eating all those other meals during the day instead, whereas now my diet allows for most kinds of breakfast foods, at least the ones I really like...

So, that being shared, guess what I ate today? Mmm hmm, breakfast foods, pretty much wholly...

Breakfast (part 1): half a bagel and a piñata apple (not as delicious as the 'rose' apple, but nonetheless juicily tasteful)

Breakfast (part 2): yoghurt, a bagel... and a banana....

Breakfast (part 3): a bowl of cereal and a yummy(oddly acidic) orange...

Joshua and I got rid of all of the 'cow' milk we had in our home. And have replaced it with Almond Milk & Rice Milk... Which our astoundingly delicious... And they make me feel better, I never realized how weighed down I felt when consuming 'cow' milk before, but goodness are they refreshing...

Recipes are in the works, not too long now... And there will be the wonderful beginnings of many recipes...

I look forward to regaling all my tales of tomorrow, tomorrow...

Life aBloom

Lovely day, indeed...

So. I have had a wonderful day. Spent with my wonderful husband.

And I have been thinking... How boring is it to just read about what I am consuming, really, I mean, I enjoy it... But I have decided that I should let you in on why I chose to do this... And the details that follow...

One of the many reasons is... I want to live (and by live, I mean enjoy life) for as long as I'm here... And one way I am enabling myself to do so is by cutting out sugar (or at least beginning to) from my diet... At least the over processed refined kind... And replacing it with honey and agave nectar... Which are closer to my goal in being raw as well... But I must remind myself, these things can too be bad in excess... It's all about moderation...

So... How did my day go? Very well...

Brunch (which seems to be more common than breakfast these days): a whole grapefruit... Delicious and tedious... I need to invest in grapefruit spoons... A paring knife and spoon take more effort than I look forward to when consuming a grapefruit... Nonetheless it was still very tasty...

Lunner: lots of samples from Central Market... Yum... Not all of them conducive to my diet, but still yummy... And some french fries... Probably not too healthful, but hey, I am progressing...

Dinner: a banana and cinnamon pancakes with peanut butter...

So, no quite 50%, but better than normal... No meat or sugar, so I am contented... For today at least, tomorrow my goal shall be overly achieved... I was thinking about grabbing a piece of fruit to get to my goal, but those sorts of sugars also need to be consumed in the morning so they can digest properly... As a lot of my food groups need to be re-arranged...

Despite, I am moving forward and continually making changes to enhance myself (or so I like to consider it)...

Goodnight, Lovely Thursday, you were wonderful, but Friday is inevitable and I must be rested to equally enjoy it...

Mary

Speaking of great for you, I never really went into the huge amounts of health benefits eating raw offers... So, for now i'll offer a few tips as to why it is so wonderful for you:

Unlimited energy, increased clarity, memory improvement, weight loss, better ability to focus, clear skin, healthy teeth, better eyesight, detoxed system, better digestion, healthier hair and nails, and tons more... Goodness am I excited...

So, as for what I consumed today:

Brunch: almond butter, mixed berry spread (raw, I created it) on toast....

Lunner: I snacked on a banana and something else that I cannot recall... I suppose I shall start carrying a little notepad along with me to record everything... Yes, I like this idea...

Dinner: baked potatoes, iced tea....

Snack: orange juice...

And lots of H2O... Can't live without it!

And I am working on starting my raw recipe section, so get ready, it's going to be wonderful!
